Carrer In Physical Education 

Physical education has traditionally been considered a professional field appropriate only for those interested in teaching career.This career is usually considered to have many benefits .The teachers in the field of Physical education commands deep respect among the students because he make a good contribution.

Elementary School

It has been recognized that physical education is a must in elementary schools,Basic skills and attitudes can be learnt well in this period. Physical education plays a very vital role in the all round development of children are extremely important in the development of intelligent l.In India , there is no career opportunity for physical education teachers in elementary school.This is the main drawback in India.

Middle school 

Career opportunity for physical education teachers in middle schools are ample but only in the school of bigs cities and especially the ones that are affiliated to CBSE.In such schools,there is separate syllabus for 6th,7th,8th classes.In government middle schools,there are rare opportunities of employment for physical education teachers. Although,the subject of physical education offered in such schools it is implemented in a formal form. Consequently,  it can be said that in middle school,the opportunity of job in the fields of physical education are not sufficient.

High School 


Generally,there are a number of opportunities for jobs in the fields of physical education in government and private,public high school. Specialized teachers of physical education are appointed in such school. They are required to teach theory and practical of physical education. They are also required to prepare various teams of inter school competitions.

Collage and university 


There are many opportunities to teach physical education in collage and universities. Physical education is an optional subject in colleges. There are various professional courses in physical education in a number of colleges l,such as certificate courses in physical education, Diploma courses in physical education,Bachelor degree in physical education, certificate courses in yoga , BSc in physical education,  Master degree in physical education  etc Phd in physical education. At university level and at college level ,teachers are required yo teach various subjects,  such as Research Methology, Test and measurement,  Sports , Psychology Sports Sociology , Sports Biomechnics,sports Medicine ,Excersie Physiology ,organisation etc 
Teaching in non school setting,such as teaching in sports clubs,teaching in youth and community organisations,  teaching in centre of elder , teaching in resorts etc are applicable in USA,UK,GERMANY,FRANCE,JAPAN,RUSSIA.In India ,no job opportunities are available in this field.
